Some theories suggest a cataclysmic event or war plagued Mars hundreds of years ago that forced the Martian inhabitants to leave and settle on Earth.
Now, alien hunters believe there is evidence of this migration as a historical structure in Japan appears to be identical to a formation on the red planet.
Looking at a Kofun Era tomb in Japan, a YouTuber claims to see same keyhole shaped mound on Mars – suggesting extraterrestrials contributed to the development of Japan’s ancient civilization.
Tyler with Secureteam10 shared these bizarre findings in a video he put together locating the peculiar structures on Google Earth.
Using the coordinates 36° 7’45.64″N 139°28’52.95″E with Google Earth and 6° 3’57.07″N 92° 4’13.22″E in Google Mars, the YouTuber was able to locate the similar structures on two different planets, reports The Inquisitr.
‘The keyhole shaped mound looks incredibly similar to what we have here in Japan,’ Tyler says during the video.
‘There are many interesting things about this mound that we found on Mars.
‘First of all, it is a massive structure and it appears in a very isolated, flat empty plain.’
‘The sides of the structure have straight edges that run down to a large circular dot formation at its base. Just like the one we have here in Japan.’
Centuries ago in Japan, those of royal birth were laid to rest in ancient imperial graves known as a kofun or ‘old mounds’.
These burials were reserved for Japan’s emperors, empresses and other prominent members of the empire, and were built between the 3rd century and early 7th century.
Kofun tombs are known for their keyhole-shape with a square front and curved back – it also looks similar to an exclamation point.
Although some believe the ‘identical structures’ may be hard evidence that aliens lived among us, Nasa has made statements to clarify it isn’t.
The US space agency explained the straight edges are the result of fractures or a hill that had been naturally raised, which formed a solid terrain and was eroded over for billions of years.
‘Interestingly enough, despite this extensive erosion over millions of years, we still have a formation that exhibits remarkable symmetry,’ Tyler suggests.
‘Nasa has had to admit that these similarities do exist and they’re more than just similarities, it’s d*mn near identical.’
Other Martian researches agree with Nasa that the structure on Mars has experienced the billion years of erosion, but believe it is the reason to why the edges are much smoother than the structures in Japan.
Tyler and other alien hunters alike firmly believe the geometric structure found in Google Mars is much too similar to be deemed ‘an accidental formation of natural processes.’
And the new discovery suggests that because the structure in Japan was a burial site for the elite, the one on Mars was a tomb for a Martian noble or king as well.
