As you focus on the middle green dot while the blue grid rotates, the three yellow dots on the outside in a triangle shape will begin to disappear.

But as soon as you look a way from the green dot – even just a fraction of a millimetre – the yellow dots will reappear.

The phenomenon is a trick of the eye that can cause a person to lose sight of stimuli that are in plain view.
