An asteroid 5,000 times larger than the Chelyabinsk meteor that exploded over Russia in 2013 may be approaching Earth. The Chelyabinsk meteor was caused by a near-Earth asteroid that approaches Earth every six years. However, a new asteroid threat may be evident, but, this time, NASA is ready.
