Humanoid AI Robot Can Chase After You

Boston Dynamics’ humanoid robot Atlas is now able to run and jump outside without being tethered to anything.

It may have taken three years to accomplish, but now the eerily human-like creation has been given free reign to go wherever it pleases and can even jump over obstacles in its path.

In a recently uploaded video, the robot can be seen jogging through a field and jumping over logs.

Its newfound athleticism is thanks in part to its smaller and more efficient design.

Given recent advances in artificial intelligence, the idea of a super-smart, human-like robot capable of independent decision-making may not be that far-fetched after all.
