Mysterious Meteorite-Like Object Catches Fire After Coming Into Contact With Water in India
Just recently prior to this (less than a month before this event), a meteorite hit a factory compound in Alwar, Rajasthan, India which resulted in a 20-feet deep crater!

Samples of the object, whose precise origins have yet to be identified, are expected to be sent to a lab for testing.
Indian media have captured footage of a mysterious fireball which fell from the sky near the railway station in Ghaziabad, northern India this past week, with the object crashing down and proceeding to burn out of control while being drenched during a heavy rainstorm.
According to India Today, the incident took place on Wednesday night, with emergency services deployed to put out the flaming fireball after it crashed into the ground with a loud bang which sounded like a thunderclap. But dousing the flames with water proved to be of little use, with the object continuing to smoulder even after being drenched.
Scientists sent to the scene where the object touched down reported that the object appeared to consist of sodium, with samples of the grey ash left over from the mystery object expected to be taken to the city of Lucknow, about 400 km southeast of Ghaziabad, for analysis in a lab.
A number of chemicals are known to react violently with water, including alkali metals such as sodium, potassium and lithium – producing heat and flammable hydrogen gas. Such chemicals are known to have been used by ancient navies including the Eastern Roman Empire during wartime. Some forms of meteorites are also known to be rich in sodium and potassium.

“Three meteorites have reportedly hit the ground close to Sahibabad railway station, Ghaziabad in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on March 5, 2020 according to the Mahanagar Times.
Local residents reported seeing three objects falling from the sky at about ten-minute intervals, with thunder-like sounds, which caused panic in the area.
Despite heavy rains at the time and attempts at extinguishing the objects by the fire brigade, they continued smouldering for several hours afterwards, producing a noticeable smell.” – SOTT
So it appears it wasn’t just one meteor!
