Pastor Dies Attempting ‘Resurrection’

A pastor in Zambia was found dead while trying to emulate the three-day resurrection of Jesus.

According to reports, James Sakara – the pastor of the Zion Church in Chidiza, Zambia – became so convinced that he could come back to life after three days that he decided to attempt the feat by means of being buried alive in a grave dug by three of his own church members.

While most of those in attendance were reluctant to assist, he eventually set things in motion by lying down in the newly dug grave with his hands tied behind his back.

Soil was then piled on top of him until he was well and truly buried alive.

Unsurprisingly, when church members returned three days later to dig him up and witness his ‘resurrection’, they instead found him very much dead.

Some attendees even attempted ‘spiritual exercises’ to revive him, but to no avail.

While one of the three men who assisted with the stunt has since handed himself into the authorities, the remaining two are still at large and are currently being hunted by the police.
