The North West UFO Group has detailed the most notable sightings that occurred over the last 12 months. Scotland is certainly no stranger to the unexplained given that it is home to the Loch Ness Monster, arguably the world's most famous cryptozoological enigma, however it is also home to some other mysteries as well, including a plethora of UFO sightings reported in its skies each year. According to the North West UFO group, there were 33 recorded sightings in 2020, with Lanarkshire, Aberdeenshire and Ayrshire being home to the most sightings during the 12-month period. One particularly intriguing sighting occurred on January 8th when a witness saw a large triangular object moving across the sky followed by two smaller triangular objects over Lerwick.
