TOWERS OF MARS: Three ‘Mile-High Buildings Found in a Row on the Red Planet’
ALIEN chasers claim to have found compelling evidence of intelligent life once existing on Mars.
UFO conspiracy websites are posting this image which some allege shows three mile-high towers built in a line on the surface of the Red Planet.
The anomaly, which equally could just be eroded rock formations, was first highlighted by YouTube channel Mundodesconocido in a video.
In a promotional blurb for the video about the discovery, the channel said it thought they could have been built by intelligent aliens.
It said: “Investigating on some Mars images, we have recently found a row of huge towers located in the Martian area of Terra Meridiani.
“Due to their peculiar features, we believe that they have an artificial origin.
“In the following video, we will show you all the amazing information and evidence, as well as animated 3D models that will allow you to evaluate correctly the information we propose.”
It has been picked up on by UFO blogger Scott C Waring.
He posted on website ufosightingsdaily.com: “There are a whole planet full of buildings and artefacts to be discovered on Mars.
“Here is a fantastic example of that posted by Youtube user Mundodesconocido.
“He found three towers that look to be almost a mile in height or more.
“They all look like they were made well because none of them are destroyed.
“They would be perfect for setting up a human Mars base at…if they are empty of course.”
It is the latest in a string of so-called discoveries which alien chasers hope are the remains of walled cities and villages on Mars.
But scientists from NASA, who have a number of rover droids actually exploring the Martian surface claim they are no such thing and are just rock formations.
They say all these alleged discoveries are the effects of pareidolia – a phenomenon when they brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects such as faces or animals shapes in patterns like clouds or the textures of a rock.
In short, people are seeing what they want to believe they are seeing.
