‘Build that Swamp’: Trump Lashes out at ‘Unwatchable’ Saturday Night Live
US President-elect Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to hit back at a Saturday Night Live comedy sketch that mocked him for tweeting too much.
Actor Alec Baldwin was back in his role of Trump in the live show, which began with his character interrupting a security briefing to share a post from a 16-year-old high schooler named Seth.
“I just retweeted the best tweet. I mean, wow, what a great, smart tweet,” Baldwin’s Trump says.
Kate McKinnon, who plays the role of top Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway, turns to the camera and says “He really did do this.” The real Trump did retweet a 16-year-old named Seth who criticized CNN.

“Seth seems so cool. His Twitter bio says he wants to make America great again,” Baldwin’s Trump says approvingly, “It also says he loves the Anaheim Ducks.”
When an aide implores him to stop interrupting the security briefing to retweet, McKinnon’s Conway suggests there is a darker motivation behind the president elect’s tweet storms.

“See, there is a reason actually that Donald tweets so much,” she claims, explaining “He does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and all the very scary people in his cabinet.”
“Actually, that’s not why I do it. I do it because my brain is bad,” Baldwin’s Trump responds.

The sketch also riffed on Trump’s campaign promises and his vanity. The piece did not go down well with the real president-elect, however, as about an hour after the show aired he took to Twitter to blast the program, labeling it “totally biased” and “not funny.” He also said Baldwin’s impersonation of him “just can’t get any worse.”

The veteran actor responded from his foundation’s Twitter account saying “Release your tax returns and I’ll stop. Ha.”

The program also took aim at Hillary Clinton in a new ‘The Hunt For Hil’ segment. In the skit, two wildlife hunters set out to track down the former Democrat candidate in order to thank her for everything she has done for America.
