Time Travel is REAL Claims Physicist Who is Already Building a Time Machine

TIME travel is possible and one physicist is so convinced that he is already building a time travel machine.

Ronald Mallett, a theoretical physicist from the University of Connecticut, believes that laser lights are the key to time travel.

A machine that Mr Mallett is working on is based around the fact that light can create gravitational fields and Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity.

The 71-year old has previously explained: “In Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, both matter and energy can create a gravitational field.

“This means that the energy of a light beam can produce a gravitational field.

“My current research considers both the weak and strong gravitational fields produced by a single continuously circulating unidirectional beam of light.

“In the weak gravitational field of an unidirectional ring laser, it is predicted that a spinning neutral particle, when placed in the ring, is dragged around by the resulting gravitational field.”

In a later study, Mr Mallet added to this by writing: “For the strong gravitational field of a circulating cylinder of light, I have found new exact solutions of the Einstein field equations for the exterior and interior gravitational fields of the light cylinder.

“The presence of closed timelike lines indicates the possibility of time travel into the past. This creates the foundation for a time machine based on a circulating cylinder of light.”

The theoretical physicist believes that physical time travel will not come to fruition, but he says that humans will be able to send messages through time in the form of neurons – and a machine will be built within the next century.

Such has been the hype around Mr Mallet’s venture that he has been subjected to a TV documentary, How To Build A Time Machine, in which he explains that he hopes to build it to reconnect with his dead father.

He said in the show: “I would say it was fair to call what I was doing an obsession. I was obsessed with wanting to see my father again.

“I was obsessed with trying to find out how one could control time.

“Everything that I became, the whole of my personality, everything about being a physicist, was based on my love for my father, and my desire to see him again.

“I had a mission. My goal was to figure out how to build the time machine.

“My whole existence, who I am, is due to the death of my father, and my promise to myself to figure out how to affect time with Einstein’s work as a foundation.

“I’m the theoretical guy. The experimental physicists will have to take on the daunting – and very expensive – role of testing my theory.”
