Google Introduces Fingerprint Reading Technology Right From Your Phone

On the heels of recent product launches by major cell phone companies such as LG, Samsung and Lenovo, Google is taking search engine optimization to the next level: Fingerprint mapping.

The increased security measure of fingerprint mapping to unlock your smart phone has paved the way for Google to provide you with what you want to see, when you want to see it. Google is able to pull from a national database of fingerprints (made possible by law enforcement across the country). The company then utilizes the information in your publicly available arrest records and tailor your search results accordingly.

“With the launch of the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7, we’ve been able to take data directly from smart phones and upload it to the Cloud. We ultimately match personal data and fingerprints to publicly available information on the World Wide Web,” a Google executive that wished to remain anonymous told us, “It’s a win-win for us and law enforcement. When we find illegal activity, chats, or even searches we immediately go to law enforcement with a positive fingerprint match. They’re loving this!”

The new data will do such things as link DUI offenders with liquor ads, sex offenders to x-rated pornography sites and violent criminals to hardware stores. Google has dubbed the feature “Google Prints.”

Smart phone manufacturers are aiding in the project, some even going so far as to add fingerprint reading in regular system updates directly through the touch screen. Overall, the project has received a positive response from focus test groups around the country.

These focus groups were randomly selected, each consisting of 20-30 individuals. 50% of the participants were given a small tempered glass “smart” screen protector. The other 50% of members were given light plastic screen protectors. The “smart” screen protectors were specially designed to read fingerprints, and base search engine results and ad experiences on arrest records.

THE NEW DATA WILL DO SUCH THINGS AS LINK DUI OFFENDERS WITH LIQUOR ADS, SEX OFFENDERS TO X-RATED PORNOGRAPHY SITES AND VIOLENT CRIMINALS TO HARDWARE STORES.

At the end of the study, participants were asked to rate the experience of the plastic vs tempered glass screen protectors. 75% of the plastic screen protector users reported difficulty in using their touch screen and accessing their Google Search engine due to the bubbles and flimsy nature of the protector. Over 90% of the tempered glass users found that there was “little to no change” in how they operated their phone, and nearly 15% were observed as having a sharp increase in online purchases through Google approved sites.

The online atmosphere of targeted ads is becoming increasingly difficult to stay current, Google Prints shows an innovation standard that will ultimately be used in all smart phones.
